Eterno is a cristalino — aged like an añejo for 18+ months in American oak, then charcoal-filtered to remove all color. The result carries the depth of long barrel aging with the visual clarity of a blanco, a combination most of Centinela's other expressions don't attempt.
Best enjoyed neat in a flute glass, as an aperitif or digestif — sipped slowly rather than mixed, so the oak, vanilla, and dried fruit notes have room to unfold.
It's one of the few tequilas that pairs true añejo barrel time with a completely clear pour. That paradox — full-bodied flavor in a glass that looks unaged — is what sets it apart.
